Privacy policy
How we collect, use, store and disclose personal information, and how to reach us about it.
Effective 2 September 2026
About this policy
Fusion Hybrid ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the personal information of the people we work with: property owners, agents, executors, trade partners and visitors to this website.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, how we look after it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
It applies to information collected through this website, through our enquiry form, and in the course of quoting for and delivering property services.
The information we collect
What we collect depends on how you deal with us. In most cases it is simply the information you give us when you make an enquiry or engage us for a project.
- Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and postal address.
- Property details: the address of the property, its condition, access arrangements, and the works you are considering.
- Project information: scopes of work, quotations, schedules, progress photographs of the property, and correspondence with you.
- Billing information: invoicing details and payment records. We do not store credit card numbers.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you view on this site.
How we collect it
We collect most personal information directly from you: through the enquiry form on this site, by phone or email, or in person during a walk-through or while works are underway.
Sometimes we receive information about you from someone else, such as a real estate agent, property manager, conveyancer, solicitor or family member who refers a property to us. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure you know that we hold the information and why.
Some information is collected automatically when you use this website, as described under Cookies and analytics below.
How we use it
We use personal information for the purpose it was given to us, and for directly related purposes you would reasonably expect.
- Responding to your enquiry and arranging a walk-through.
- Preparing a scope of works, costing or quotation.
- Delivering, coordinating and supervising works, including engaging trades and suppliers.
- Managing access to the property and reporting progress to you.
- Invoicing, accounting, and keeping the records we are required by law to keep.
- Understanding how this website is used so we can improve it.
- Sending occasional updates about our services, where you have asked to receive them.
Marketing and opting out
We only send marketing communications to people who have asked for them or who would reasonably expect to hear from us. Every message includes a way to opt out, and you can also ask us to stop at any time using the contact details below. We will action the request promptly and at no cost to you.
We will not use your personal information for a purpose unrelated to the one it was collected for without your consent, unless the law requires or permits it.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies and similar technologies (small files stored by your browser) to keep the site working properly and to understand how it is being used, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive.
Analytics information is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, although parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.
Who we disclose information to
We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it for another organisation's marketing. We share it only where it is necessary to do the work, or where the law requires it.
- Trade partners, subcontractors and suppliers engaged to carry out works on the property.
- Agents, stylists, photographers and other parties where you have asked us to coordinate with them.
- Service providers who support our business: website hosting, email, file storage, accounting and IT support.
- Our professional advisers, including accountants, insurers and lawyers.
- Any person or body where disclosure is required or authorised by law.
Information stored overseas
Some of the service providers we rely on, particularly for email, file storage and website analytics, store data on servers located outside Australia. Where that occurs we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles your personal information in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Storing and securing information
We hold personal information in secure electronic systems and, where necessary, in physical files. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. That includes access controls, secure hosting, and confidentiality obligations on our team and trade partners.
We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected and for as long as we are required to keep it by law. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to destroy it or permanently de-identify it.
Access and correction
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. Please use the contact details at the end of this policy.
We will need to verify your identity before releasing any information. We aim to respond within 30 days. Access is free in most cases. If a request is unusually complex we may charge a reasonable fee for the time involved, and we will tell you what it is before any cost is incurred. If we are not able to give you access or make a correction, we will explain why in writing.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information or breached the Australian Privacy Principles, please raise it with us first. Send the details to the contact address below. We will acknowledge your complaint, investigate it, and respond to you in writing within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au, or by phone on 1300 363 992.
